Last Sabbath I rid up to preaching by myself. [Lonie?] asked me how or where that gentleman wass. Can you tell me. hope he was enjoying himself nicely never thinking that there was an unwise little girl plodding through the mud I got my hands all dirty a [tieing?] my pony. but Martin [Norris?] got her for me he had to be instructed in getting her up [to?] the fence. told him I could never [mend?] him for his gallantry. he said can [yous?] i did not know whether you could or not. Mr. Brady preached very long sermon so he had to hurry that he would get back to Perry to preach. he thinks he will start a protracted meeting in about two week. Mr. [Simons?] still continues his [mocking?] as yet he has no very great success. Mr. Lee raised up for prayer. Mr. Perhan they are very [anxious?]about him, to see to get him under the water, if possible _____
