are worn. IT is not the clothes but good Qualtities that makes the good person. An honest account is what I wish to give. Their is no other lacy friend that I consider as a friend of mine. As I do the friend that I am penning these [illegible] unbroken lines to. In years gone by, I have had some very good friends. (And are yet no doubt) But none could I (allow me to make this transgression) love, as I can my friend Ellie. I have never walked with a friend to adversilies brink. Nor left them like a rat would leave a ship that must sink. Nor do I ever wish to be guilty of such conduct.
