night and I am sleepy yet I shouldn't wonder if you wasnt used to being up nights well Al I am sorry I did not get your letter sooner but regrets are useless I went up home after work wednesday evening to see the folks I had not heard from home and did not know that any one was sick I was a little bit surprised pa had been sick while I was gone I dont think it agrees with Wes in the drug store he used to be such a heavy stout fellow but he is getting as thin faced as an old maid or bachelor either I forgot to find out Emards address I am not sure whether the house is numbered or not you can send a letter for him to [pas?] address his family are well and getting along nicely I have not changed my name yet but I guess I will have to if I can find some one that is fool enough to have me I believe I am getting tired of
