him O my Father. Come Jesus. Come O come quickly. heal his broken spirit, his wounded heart with thy healing balm. Come dispell every fear. Every doubt. Every plotting of the evil one over his poor terrible soul may he feel thy hallowed presence in his heart help him to look inwards & upwards. not backwards. What he has been is is now, O forgive all his sins blot them out with thy life's blood that was shed in calvery. O remember Calvery. Now the shadow of death (compass?) him about. the wicked one is busy to fill his mind with doubt some times. O dispell all this fear and doubt. Make him one with the in God, help him to lay hold of thy blest promises. And if it is thy will that he will hear some prayers at Christmas O I would so wish it Prayers dictated by thy holy self to strengthen to help him put all trust in thee.
