Monday Aug 23 Worked and played croquet in the evening at Linns Uncles. Grace, Nellie & May against Allie Linn & I. We were beaten.Tuesday Aug. 24th Today is the "Shakespeare Club" were going to have a picnic at Ainsworth Springs. May was to go with Mrs. [Wemsott?] & I with Edith Lacre; but it sprinkled a little & so they decided not to go. The day was pleasant after all excepting one shower late in the afternoon. We played croquet at Allies in the evening (on the croquet board.) Wednesday Aug. 25th I got up early this morning. Linn Nellie, May, Gracie & I went to look for ferns on the road to Stewarts about 11. A.M. We found some
