think about it and hear it again. The sermon was about Character as a castle. I have forgotten the text. Mr Lacy was in our pew & as Linn went in she hit his hat with her foot & kicked it half way down the pew. (ours is a long one) When he went to go out, Mr Lacy could not find his hat & we had to stand there most 5 minutes while he fished under the seat. None of us knew it then but Linn and she was nearly bursting with laughter. Monday Sept 20th. Went to school. Nothing else in particular. Tuesday 21st Went to school. When Papa came home to supper he did not feel at all well & he kept growing worse and worse until Mamma sent May and Nellie for Dr. Staples, who soon relieved him. But he is still very sick & Mamma is afraid he
