Such a time as I did have! Edie had Harry & I had Brick. They have both got the epizootic & Brick coughs. We had not got but one whip and Harry would not galop with out it and Brick would not keep up unless I had it. Brick got mad at me & galoped 2 blocks down Bluff st. & my hat tumbled off & I could not stop him at first, but we had lots of fun. Sunday 24th May and I went to church this morning. Dr. Bingham preached what I thought was a splendid sermon. The text was; "Notwithstanding, in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven." S. Luke 10. 20.
