Thurs. Oct 28th. Miss Larston is still absent. Friday Oct 29th. Linn, Grace, & Mina had to speak today Mina failed but she did not care. Grace spoke very good & so did Linn, only it was pretty fast. I have to speak next Friday. Saturday 30th. Linn & I went to see Annie Scott this P.M.[Susie?] Duncan & Helen Moore were there. Had a nice time with the exception that I was pretty tired. Sunday Oct 31. I did not go to church. but Mamma & May did. Dr. Ray, the methodist minister preached. We all went riding in the afternoon & it was so cold that we wore our furs.
