Saving...
Saturday Jan 8th. I worked all morning. I have finished my holder and hung it up. It is prettier than the pattern than the pattern in the carpet, that I took it from. It is very warm and not a bit of snow, this afternoon I was looking at the old dead plants in the front yard, with Alice & we found that our lilac bush was budding. (I mean leaves budding, not flowers) Linn and I had quite a long ride in the carriage all by ourselves. I went down town after supper, with Alice, Grace and Linn & they spent the rest of evening here. We played consequences. Sunday 9th. Cold. I read all day. 3/4 through Scottish Chiefs.
