Saturday 19th Worked real hard all morning -Meg, Beth and Laurie stayed to supper & spent the evening - Laurie is going to stay all night. Meg's piece for the paper is a composition on "My Native City." and Laurie's is a letter. The rest have not sent theirs yet. Sunday 20th Wrote to Grandma - Went to Sunday School. Monday - Lillie Baker and I wrote a poem in school asking Miss Lawton to change Fred Watsons seat, because we don't like him and dont want him near us he acts so. Miss Lawton showed it to Mr. Irish and he called us up & began to joke us about it. These are the verses,
