Friday Apr. 7th. School was dismissed today for the two weeks vacation. Miss Royce had quite an exhibition in her room. I was not there till recess, the best part was over then.. Amy is going to spend her vacation in the country. Laurie, Beth & I intend to have high old times & not do hardly - any work. Saturday Apr 8th. Bathed, did a little work, & went to the greenhouses with Mama this A. M. At Harketts we got Mammas carnation pink, which is in bud & at Springborn's we purchased two pretty heliatropes in blossom & a new variety of geranium. O! it was so lovely there! I spent the afternoon & evening at Beths. It has been a beautiful day. Gracie has been out
