too cold if anything. May wild violets & lillies of the valley are beginning to show themselves. Sunday Apr 16th. Beth & I finished reading "Christie Johnstone" It is very queer & I like it. This is Easter Sunday. I attended the service at the Episcopal Church in the evening with Laurie. It was very nice & would have been nicer if I had had some supper. Monday Apr. 17th. A lovely day. Laurie & I have been over to Beth's a little while this evening - I worked most all morning. Going to bed early. Tuesday Apr 18th. I went up to Mr. Burden's & down town this morning. Laurie accompanied me. I bought some gloves & worsted to fill
