Thursday 18th More rain today. Friday 19th Very warm. Mamma and I went down town this morning and purchased a hat for me, a parasol, a calico dress & brought home samples. I was pretty tired & did not want to speak, so I stayed home in the afternoon. Saturday 20th Ella Knowlton came up this morning to sew on our machine. I fussed around all morning. In the afternoon I went down town. Linn stayed to supper. Sunday 21st. I went to Sunday School and out riding. Monday May 22 I burned my finger with hot mush Saturday morning and it is quite sore now. I have got a horrid bread [illegible
