Saving...
violin for us & we danced. Thursday, Jan. 11th. Our class was dismissed this afternoon I went riding with Allie & Lillie. Mr. Lacy called this evening & Papa & I played whist against Mamma & Mr. L. We won the rubber. I wish Papa would not give Mr Lacy wine when he comes. Friday, Jan 12th. School dismissed again this afternoon. Mamma is quite sick. I spent the afternoon at home, but did not study much as I had Freddy Jones & Gracie to take care of, which was not an easy task, Eugene & Anabel Adams came down & spent the evening with May & I, which was very kind of them. I hope they will come again soon. I have a sore throat. More snow.
