Tuesday, Feb. 26th. I went to see Miss James. I will take my first lesson Thursday at 10, A. M. After German I made ginger snaps. Mr. Lacy spent the evening here. Wed. 27th. I made some custard today, & used the custard cups that Grandma gave me. It was good. After supper I went to church with Linn & Kate Hosford (to Episcopal Church - not revival meeting.) I think that Mr. Seymour is a very interesting speaker. Miss Ray was here to tea. I like her so much. I did not have any Latin Lesson today. I must try & do better tomorrow. Thursday. March 1st. Spring again. I am not sorry for I like all of the season in their turn.
