work I think, indeed I am sure I could if the washing was sent out. I could read to Grandma & do many little things that would make her more comfortable & happy & would be particularly good to her because I did them. I would have to get up very early & sleep alone. I don't dread either, they would be good for me. I think I could make Grandma & Grandpa both happier & more comfortable. Of course there are objections to my going. Mamma does not think very favorably. She is too considerate of me, I think. She need not be, for if I can be more use there than here. I am perfectly willing; I think I should prfer to go. Monday 5th. Indexed 100 pages for Papa. Nothing in particular has happened. I went to see Linn a while in the evening.
