charms, for me, & (judging from the worn cover & torn leaves) for others. It is an old maids journal; not like this, of what actions are preformed every day, but of what she calls her "outings." You must read to understand the full, complete meaning of that word, I can not define it for it means so much. The book sets me thinking, but I shall not write my thoughts here, perhaps I shall not write them anywhere, if I do it will be for my own amusement & --- I am putting the cart before the horse I mean perhaps I will write me "outings" & if I do my thought (above mentioned) will be there. Pshaw - yes, - pshaw but "fools rush in where wise men fear to tread." Aint fools the wisest sometimes? & I
