Day for 4 or 5 Days, but don't let them boil; then put them in a Pot for Use & when you use any heat the rest or will not keep so well To make Orange Jams Take the largest Seville Oranges free from Spots & cut them in Quarters & take the Peel & Pitts & put them in cold Water & let them stand all night; then take more Water & put them on a slow Fire & when the Water is bitter put them in fresh & let them boil till they are so tender that a Straw will run through them; then drain
