of Leeks; Onions; some Penny Royal, a little sweet Herbs of all Sorts chopt small; the Blood of the Hog - half the Blood is enough for a small Inward. A Bread & Butter Pudding. Cut your Bread & Butter very thin & put a Layer in your Dish; then strew some Currants well wash'd & pick'd over it; then put another Layer of Bread & Butter, so on to make it of a proper consistency according to the Depth & Size of your Dish, putting currants over every Layer of Bread; have your Milk, Eggs, and Sugar with a little Salt and Nutmeg beat up together and pour over the Bread and Currants into your Dish - So bake it -
