To make Elder Flower Wine. Take 6 Gallons of Spring Water & 20 lb of Powder Sugar; boil it well with the Whites of 6 Eggs for an Hour; take 6 lb of Raisins of the Sun stoned & chopt; pour your Sugar & Water upon them hot, let it stand till almost cold; then put to it 1/4 Peck of Elder Flowers that will shake off the Stalks; & three Spoonfuls of good Ale Yeast; when it has worked two Days put it in your Vessel & let it stand six Months, & when fine bottle it.
