To Cure Hams When the Weather will permit hang up the ham for Three days Then Mix an Ounce of Salt petre with a Quarter of a pound of bay - salt the Same of Common Salt and also of Coarse Sugar and a Quart of strong Beer Boil them together and pour it immediately on the ham Turn them twice a day for three Weeks One Ounce of black pepper the same quantity
