plain And crisp Biscuit Make a pound of flour the yealk of an egg and some milk into a very stiff paste beat it well & knead till quite smooth roll it very thin and cut into biscuit bake them in a slow oven til quite dry and crisp A Biscuit CaKe One pound of flour five egg well beaen & strained eight ounces of sugar a little rose water beat the whole thoroughly and bake one hour
