Date Pie 1 cup seeded dates 1 " water. Cook over hot water 20 min, then rub thro' a sieve Beat one egg & 1 tablespoon sugar until light add 1 tablespoon lemon juice and gradually 1 cup scalded milk. then bake. Raisin Pie 1 # seeded raisins. Boil 1 hr. Add juice & grated rind 1 lemon, piece butter size egg, 1 cup sugar & 2 tablespoons corn starch. (Filling for 2 pies)
