Tooth Powder. 1/2 Oz Camphorated Chalk, 1 dr pounded Myrrh, 1 dr Peruvian Bark, & 2 drs of Orris Root. . From Mr. Greaves. - Washing Paste. 1 Lb of mottled soap. 3 lbs of soda to one Gallon of water, add all together, let them simmer until melted. - For dying Black. 2 Ozs of Gall, 1 lb of Logwood, 1/2 oz of Copperas for dying black. - For dying Lavender. 2 Pennyworth of Arcket, & a little soda with a little salt added will make a Peach Bloom, or pink. -
