remembering that it boils considerable away. - If you Boiler, or Pan is not large enough to boil all the liquor at once, say for an hour, then Each boiling should be boiled the time above mentioned. It may be well to add a little brown sugar, & a small quantity of salt to each boiling of liquor: the quantity of Hops for 4 bushels should be two pounds & put them into the liquor tub well, rubbed from lumps before you let off, then run off the liquor gently into the tub, let the hops be boiled with the liquor
