Windsor, Va. 9, 8, 1910 Ida R Chamness, Dear friend I often think of thee as one taught in the school of Christ, and has received a portion of the outpouring of His Holy Spirit, that was declared by the ancient prophcy: that He would pour out His Spirit upon all flesh, and all the sons and daughters of men in these last days and age of the Gospel dispensation. When the lively ministry proceeds from His ministers, in the life and power of His holy Spirit, then there is convincement the world knows not of; neither do they understand with all their outward learning. O yes, I have heard thee many times clothed with gospel power, by which many drooping hearts were made glad. That only which proceeds from the life begets life. Yes, the world to day is filled with hypocrits largely because they have not the bread of life. Their ministers preach for money, and not by the gift of God; -yes, the world is starving to-day for the bread and water of Eternal life. Our Saviour said there would be many false teachers; and so it is as there were many false prophets of old, Jer XIV:14 "I sent them not neither have I commanded them, they shall not profit these people.
