-25- loose. And all this time wept and prayed; and kept on til her strength failed her. As soon as we left the house Ida Chamness said to us, "Did I not tell you I was coming to a funeral?" Now we all saw her sight was clear; and her prophesy proved to be true. We had the funeral which she had been telling us about for two weeks. The next day was their meeting day; and some notice had been scattered around;- that we would be there. We saw the people come over the mountains, and around them up the highway, all were walking. We had a full meeting there and a very solemn time. All felt sympathy for the seemingly bereft family. Ida Chamness and myself were both largely exercised in the ministry. We dwelt much on the uncertainty of time with us all; and the certainty of death, prepared or unprepared. Some of Aslag's children were there; and relatives to the young men who were said to have been drowned. The way Ida was led to speak so comfortably and hopefully to the parents of the supposed deceased Ida's father had told some one that he believed they were not dead.
