-48- Tenth month, 2nd., We attended the general meeting here to-day, not much life in the meeting, but it ended well. Elisha Bye and I went to Jesse Darbyshire's, and took dinner. That evening we were invited to Hannah Braton's. We had a nice supper there, after which we had a religious opportunity. She spoke to each one separately, one by one, encouragingly. She had a gift in the ministry; and was much set aside by some of them. Then we returned to our home again at Lydia Sargent's; where we were well cared for every way. She was a fine Friend. The next day, Tenth month, 3rd. We left Fritchly and walked to the station, Ambergate. Some Friends came from Birmingham; and other parts to go with us to Liverpool. Some of them bid us a loving farewell at the station. William Land and Hannah Brayton went with us to Liverpool, to the Cunard Hotel, where they quarter all of their passengers going on that line free of charge. William Land and other people arranged for a meeting for us that night. We all went to the meeting; and it was a favored one. Several testimonies were borne to the everlasting truth. This was
