Saving...
-97- Spirit of life may flow to all parts of the body: that will cheer and nourish the never dying part in man. It makes me feel good to be able again to write to thee. We are woven together in the gospel web. Something last fall I had a fall that hurt my back very much. I was not able to sit up. There was quite a while I was not able to sit up. There was quite a while I was not able to write; and am not able to write much now, my nerves are much shattered now. About three or four weeks ago a hog ran under my feet and tripped me which gave me another fall; that set me back. This is the first letter I have written since last fall. Tell Georgetta, I owe her a letter. The grandchildren are all well. They are smart in their books. I will close this note; hope I will be able to write again soon. O, how sweet it is to travel over, in remem-berance of things. Thy friend, Joel Johnson.
