I have rode out twice as far as round the other side of the siver that is the fartherest yet. John Webster is down to Hiram Cass's in Meridith going to school, Mr. Cass has a school i his own house. John does not intend to stay at home after he is twenty one. Noah Cummings eats his breakfast in the morning goes down to Russell's store and stops until noon, goes home and eats his dinner then goes back again in the afternoon. I received a letter from Freeman the other day, he said he had written to you but guessed you was paying him off in his own coin. Sally Ann was at home, and would stay until there was more work.
