the Episcopal meeting alone in the forenoon (you know he is a meeting hand) in the afternoon his father & Jane went with him to the Congregational meeting -------- Your Aunt Mary sits up about half of the time ------ Monday they came back to O. Chapins & staid over night tuesday went to Freeland Hemphills & staid there over night your father got a black Crower there & brought home he is proud of him. He contrasts finely with our white breed, he is so black he shines -------- Horace Clark's folks are about as usual we received a letter from Israel last saturday he says he has not worked so hard for 3 years as he has this season, nor enjoyed so good health, he wrote about your aunt Nancy's getting hurt I fear she will not get over it.
