The report is that Eliza Heath has bought the house where Mrs West used to live at the Village with the furniture and is a going to have a young gentleman of her relation there with her. I guess Tom is all out there. I received a letter from Laura Chapin about three weeks ago containing a picture of Oliver and his cats also a letter from Freeman a few days ago in which he spoke of going West in February or March. He said that they were agoing to celebrate the one hundredth anniversary of the town the 16th of next Sept and Uncle Thomas has been appointed chief marshal Lyman Spaulding is now gone as an agent for the Christian Era. If one wants to know what is agoing on around here they can go to Betsy Flanders and generaly find out what they wish. She visits W. Plymouth not quite every day. Emily Spencer was not married the 28th of Nov. She told Eliza that she might tell that she was after that and she did but she has written to her since that she is not ..........be married to Gill Dotogy but do not know when she was not
