I understand the office at Fort Dodge was opened about three days since; and if you think best, I could send the Warrant to Cousin Lewall and request him to locate. I have no doubt he would locate, so that another year you would realize double what you would to sell the Warrant now. Please write me at Saint Anthony's Falls as soon as this reaches you, and let me know your wish. I shall sell if I can get $1,050; but don't think I shall without. I send this by Gen. Wm Tripp, who has just crossed the river with me, on his way to Maine where he expects to be next Monday. Dr. Staples is well. Is expecting Dr. Phillips here every day. It is doubtful if I stop to see Andrew as I want to find "Mag" by Sat night. Think my trip is doing me good and I am in hopes to gain half a pound a day. In Haste Love to all. Yr Aff. brother. M. S.
