Saving...
Ally's Mother sent me four or five pounds of butter it was so nice Charley stayed there all night he says They have about as pretty a farm as he has seen in Iowa Ms. Clark is going to move out soon and we are not sorry I get provoked worse every day Charley says she is the dirtiest thing in all the state of Iowa we will have to shade the front yard up about a foot deep to get some of the filth off of it from all appearances I do no think she will [illegible] be able to navigate much longer Father sent word up here wanting to know how we was and how we was getting a long perhaps he will get over it yet I cannot tell what he is doing for I have never heard I suppose Hugh is coming [illegible] [illegible] [illegible] wonder if he will give us a call Charley thinks he will not call more than once I do not believe he will trouble us much and I shall be very glad of it Charley has quit tailoring it does not pay there days I expect he will desk for some of the merchants this summer I want you all to come out this spring if possible I cannot write anymore just now for my breast is very painful give my love to all write soon Yours Truly Charley & Ellen
