the Hart.. today is Sunday and no [mastery?] to [yoto?] and I should like to be in Damille. and spend the day with you all and if our Rail Road was finished to the Missippi River. I would be with you all in less than three days.. there is a great many things that I would like to talk to you about but as it is [illegible].. Some two months ago I wrote a letter to Father and Mother about coming to Iowa not that they would be any better taken care of or as well.. but I would like to do my part towards them.. You may think the spell has taken me all at once but such is not the case. I have allways been willing. but having been allways draging along in poverty [bale?] ever since I have been in Iowa. I have ever felt that I would be doing them injustice to [illegible] them to the [inconvenience?] that we have labored under since in the State.. five cents being on Capital State to commence with in Iowa but times have changed since then.. if you are all willing I think we can take care of them the [illegible] of their days.. Money is allmost as scarce as it ever was but I have accumulated some property that will pay after while.. You have all perhaps made up your minds in [illegible] to their coming to this state if you have let me know when they will start which [may?] they will come they had letter come by RailRoad to chicago
