they call it La Grippe, or the European distemper. Father said that both of the men that work with him war sick with it. And there is a great many sick here with it to. All of Alexanders folks but two are sick. And this young fellow that lives down stairs is sick too. I had to stay at home and take care of Sarah while she was sick it made me rather short but i will send you those stumps soon. She had the Doctor seven times in about a week. Then besides all of the Doctors medicine. Well i don't think of much more this time. I hope your foot is better i thought i would tell you what to do if you had a bad cold so you want to look out.
