Illinois Jacksonville Oct 19/69 Dr Bro Yours of the 10th is [arrived?] In making the statements I sent you I did not depend on memory but my books - & it happened in this way - Frank asked to see Father's Journal - when I handed it to him I found in the same wraper the amount of our settlement. It struck me at once that some of these had been paid & on timing to my bills payable accounts I found the 95.40 balanced my cash - & $100 cash paid on the $70 - my cash and bills payable account
