16 Illinois Jacksonville Oct 3, 1860 [illegible] Looking over old papers I came across a copy of our settlement of Father's Estate am comparing it with my book, I find the remittances of Momy which you had not credited. 1849-Dec1st My draft on you (at 4 [illegible]) for 95.40 was paid at maturity - 1850 Jan, 22 - Draft for - $700- on this there was paid - 100.00. $195.40. I must know how you kept the amounts - perhaps you can find it as I have it. I have it [illegible] charges on my books & think there can be no mistake about it - your charges against
