[Nashville?] Aug 22 1865 Dr Brother I have a letter from Augusta in which she gives an extract from a Chicago paper "Judge Eno who was the successful candidate for Lt Governor in 1853 is now in the Sacramento County hospital he has become intemperate and very poor and of late has subsisted by begging." I don't know what we can do for him, - If we could authorize somebody to make him comfortable I would be willing to pay part or all the expense, and as any [movement?] [at?] all maintain for this season I wish you would try and help him.
