Brunswick Mo Dec 14 1870 Dr Bro William Have you heard from brother Harry lately? I sent him a little money and authorized him to draw on me" if he was in a tight place" but have no answers. Edwards former partner went to California about two months since & returned yesterday. I requested him to find Harry when in San Francisco & [relieve?] him if in need and report to me. he says he heard of him, that he had been there, saw a man with whom he stayed some time in the summer who said he was then very feeble but he thought he had left the city. I will join you in assisting if you know his whereabouts and condition. I am spending the winter assisting Edward in his lumber business.
