Appearances indicate a forward movement think we will leave here and go further south within the next 10 days. I am too ragged to go about among the officers so 2 stars in my tent most of the time. 7th Indiana Regiment come in yesterday. Never heard of anything of Pat Killdy or John Wilson [illeg] & they have gone [illeg]. Sep 25th Weather clear. Lay around all forenoon at 11 a.m. received orders to prepare to march immediately. The 9th & 15th Ind Reg. started at 1 Oclock Eastward over the mountains. destination Camp Kimble on the summit of Cheat Mountain and is 12 miles distant from our camp and it was the most fatigu
