availing us at our own Camp but all agree in saying that we do not want either until after they have a brush with the Rebels. Sep 30th Weather clear and beautiful. We have nothing to do but cook and eat and enjoy ourselves as best we can. Mr Casterline who has been [complaining] for several days had to be sent back to camp. Poor fellow it went hard with him to go back at this stage of the [illeg] [illeg] when starting he made [illeg] [affect?] [whole line illegible] but to see me again. [Illegible] in camp are that we will advance toward the enemy tonight or tomorrow.
