Saving...
Dec 18th Weather clear and warm. Nothing important or uncommon transpireing in camp. All very tired of such constant drilling. When I come in from drill this evening I found a letter from Sally the first I had received since I was home and Oh the pleasure it gave me to hear that they ware all well and that evrything was going on so well with them. I go to bed tonight with a lighter heart than I have for several days. Lieut James King and Sergt John Bryan of the 36th Ind Spent the evenings with me.
