Streets of a countyseat as there has been so many troops quartered here that the place is almost entirely ruined. 1/2 mile below the town is situated the beautiful Iron Rail Road bridge which spans Green River and which the Traitor Buckner partialy destroyed by blowing the Piers to pieces with powder but which is now repaired by trestle work so that it is passable and is used for the double purpose of a Railroad and a passenger bridge as all the troops with their trains of wagons are able to cross it. We crossed over on it and then went up the river about one mile
