there find their last resting place. The name of evry one is cut in a Stone and set at the head of the graves and in the centre of the enclosire is a large tablet of rough stone with the America Eagle and the Starts and Stripes carved on it also the names of all who are burried there. They all being Germans their names are all in that language consequently I could not read them. Wrote a letter to Feb 22. The rain is falling in torrents all day consequently evrything is gloomy in camp. The national salute in honor of the birth day of Washington
