25 January 14th 1901 Cary Club met at the home of Mrs Hutchinson. Roll call responded to by quotations from Haridel or of Hindel. There were Eleven members present. Minutes of preceding meeting read and approved. Business was first on program as president wished to be excused. Mrs. E. W. Griffiths was elected to membership. Motion made and carried that each member be ascessed 50 cts to help defray the expence of entertainment. Mrs Mudge brought greeting from Mrs Hindman who is ill. A motion that return greetings be sent from Club over the telephone prevailed. Mrs Humphrey gave lesson in German History in place of Mrs Ives. Half hour conversation led by Mrs Taylor. The New Woman being the subject chosen. Impersonation by Mrs Dobson. Who gave a humorous sketch by Josiah Allens Wife. Music. "Just as I am." Was sung by the club. Five minutes intermission English lesson led by Mrs Manson Adjourned to meet February Eleventh with Mrs. Voris. Mrs Voris President Mrs Humphrey Sec'y
