Lesson in English was let by Mrs. Stovkey. The club adjourned to meet with Mrs. Davis April 8. Our hostess then served lovely refreshments. Mrs. Voris President Mrs. E.W. Griffeths Sec'y Pro Tem. April 8 Mrs. Maddock placed on the retired list by her own request & club request. April 8, 1901 Cary Club met with Mrs. Davis. 15 members present. Roll call. "A favorite authors and why:" German lesson led by Mrs. Gibson. "Wife and Mother of William first by Mrs. Reynolds. Intermission. Business. Committee presented a ribute to Mrs. Hindman, read by Mrs. Rathbon. Motion made & carried that same be placed in the records. and a copy be sent to Dr. Hindman and family Current events. English lesson. from page 132 & 136. Minutes of last meeting read and approved. Next meeting with Mrs. McKean. Mrs Voris Pres. Mrs. Griffeths Sec'y Pro Tem.
