Cary Club met with Mrs. McKean Jan 30 1905. Nine members and one guest being present. ROllcall & quotation minutes of last meeting read and approved. Mrs McKean read a paper on The Women of Japan Mres Pyle then read an interest ing article from the Review of Reviews on Labor conditions in the Mean Packing industries. Current events were then given afterwhich the Club adjourned to meet in two weeks with Mrs Cook Mrs. Hutchinson (President) Mrs. McKean (Sec'y) Cary Club met at the home of Mrs Cook February 1 1905. ten members and one guest present. Rollcall responded to by quotations. Minutes of last meeting read and approved. Mrs McKean took Mrs. Bailey's place on the program reading Panama and its neighbors. Mrs Boris then read "Anecdotes of Celebrities", whcih was enjoyed by all. Current events were then given at which time Mrs Rathbun gave Miss [Goulds?] beautiful poem "Frost" which was appreciated by all present. The President then explained Shumack and Seberns proposed sale which is to begin February 27" and continue for fays, ten per cent of the proceeds of the sale to go to the Public Library
