June 20th 1909 A party was given at the home of Mrs J Brown. in honor of Mrs Parminter. and Mrs Billings Billington of Des Moines. the founder of the Cary Club. After several good speeches. and social time that was enjoyed by all. Mrs Parminter was presented with a silver spoon as a token of the esteem in which she was held by the Cary Club. All joined in wishing her happiness. and prosperity in her new home Nevada. Susie Brown Sec'y
