The [Cary] Club met with Mrs Phelps, Monday afternoon in the absence of the Secretary, Mrs Winter was appointed Sec. [protem]. eight members responded to roll call, after which current events were given. The proposition of having the public library open on Sunday afternoons was then brought before the Club for discussion. A motion was made, and carried that the [Carey] Club take its turn at the work if undertaken by the Clubs of the City, and The Federation delegate was so instructed to [express] the attitude of the Cary Club. The program for Guest Day was discussed. The Program [illegible] had previously conferred with Mrs [Lod] Wilsen of Cedar Rapids in regard to giving a talk on Woman's Suffrage
